Dogs are human’s best friends because of their loyalty towards the owners. Dobermans are the dogs that people use for security, as they are like detective dogs. For many years people and even police departments of different countries use Doberman to know the path and detect the thieves. Dobermans are dangerous as we think because of their appearance and behavior. Furthermore, they do not have an excellent reputation as the military and police departments use them. Also, Dobermans look very dangerous and competent. Sometimes, people even welcome them as a pet. People who love the disciplined and skilled dog would be likely to purchase this breed as a pet.

War Dogs: Dobermans

In wars, these dogs play the role of scouts, messengers, and sentries. In World War II, the army mainly employed the Dobermans to solve the purpose of passing messages. Also, they are known as Devil Dogs to identify their unit. Around 25 dogs from Doberman breed were killed in the invasion of Guam. When the army stormed Okinawa in the Second World War, they take Doberman dogs incorporating the Marines. In Germany, jailers use these dogs for security purposes. They keep the dogs in the prisons to guard the prisoners. They call these breed as “Dobies.” Also, they use this breed for finding wounded soldiers and tracking criminals who escape from prison. Also, they respect the family life of the dogs they used for securities. And hence they send all the retired dogs to a safe place where they can live with their family.

Dobermans Are Dangerous Or Not?

Doberman has the standard called ACK. ACK standards explain the features like personality and temperament of these dogs. According to the rules, Dobies should be fearless, alert, energetic, loyal, watchful, obedient, and determined. Generally, people would not prefer any vicious or shy dog for security reasons. Also, the army and police like the dobbies because of their abilities to adapt and apply the training given for particular work. This is one of the best reasons that the army includes Dobermans in its mission. Also, the ACK standards for these dogs has stated that the dogs that behave viciously are not suitable for security purpose. Ack has given the proper statement for Doberman; it said that Dobermans are that kind of dogs that should be alert and watchful, but vicious behavior is at zero tolerance.

Do They Bite?

As we all know that every dog can bite. People believe that this breed is a biter, and they stay away from any dobby. But trainers prefer to train from an early age as they can adopt the training quickly. As the dobbies grow younger, they would not accept the orders from trainees. Also, it would not be very easy to train a young dog. So, dogs that are likely to be employed in the police and army should have training from an early age. A trained dog can do anything, including agility. Search and rescue kind of activities depend upon the intelligence of the dog.
